Road trip?

Paper house paper house paper house! It's in Rockport, Mass., and there's even a piano constructed out of newspaper. Built by Elis F. Stenman in 1922, this abode has stood the test of time. His grand-niece, who runs tours of the site, discusses the oddity in an interview:

What's the most commonly asked question about the Paper House?

I think probably the most common question is just, "why?"

Do you know the answer?

No. I don't really know the answer. I don't really know why unless he was just really thrifty or something. Newspapers were pretty inexpensive;everybody gave him their papers.

Art for its own sake?
